| GRADUATE AND POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH PROGRAM
A priority of the Center is to provide graduate student support. This level of support is expected to continue in the future. Students interested in MS or Ph.D. work in the Center should contact one of the faculty. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
The Center for Electro-Optics encourages undergraduate students to become involved in research. There are numerous ways in which students can get involved with research. Electrical engineering offers undergraduate research support for seniors interested in performing research. Numerous students have been able to be involved in research through the Ronald E. McNair project. Scholarships are available for seniors with potential to be successful in graduate school through a NSF program entitled "Strengthening Graduate Education in Science and Engineering Through Systemic Involvement in Research and Outreach Activities." Faculty in the center have money for support of undergraduates from individual research grant and contracts. |
| OTHER PROGRAMS
The Center has hosted programs for children at all levels of elementary and secondary education. For example, students work in the CEO as part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's "Earn and Learn" Engineering Internship Program. More information about the program and the activities here at the Center for Electro-Optics can be found at, http://excimer.unl.edu/interns/. |
